The major components are the analysis of the workplace, managing of the risks and hazards, training facilities on health and safety issues and the employee’s engagement as well commitment at the workplace (Graham, 2017). Besides, the main functions of an occupational health and safety system at the workplace are to reduce the injuries, accidents and employee’s illnesses. Health and safety system plays vital roles in ensuring the welfare and development of the health, security and safety of the employees. Occupational health and safety system requires to formulate different rules, standards and policies that will facilitate a strong and effective health, security and safety system at the organizations.

1.2 Explanation of the ways of inefficient and inadequate controlling of risks

There are some weaknesses of an occupational health and safety system that indicate the inefficient and insufficient controls of the hazard and risk (Hughes, 2018).
